Due to rapid expansion and explosive growth, we are hiring a LAMP developer to be an integral part of a tight knit rapid and agile development team.

Major Responsibilities

- Design and implement highly reliable and scalable web-based database application 
- The LAMP Developer will be responsible for implementation of new features in our proprietary CRM 

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this team member will be an integral part of a tight-knit agile development team and will have immediate and direct impact on company success based on performance. 

Minimum requirements: 

Education 
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience 

Experience 
- 3 years of progressive industry experience in database driven web technologies 
- 3 years minimum in developing commercial products in a LAMP/PHP environment. 
- Start-up experience strongly preferred 

Technologies 
- PHP 5 
- Experience with PHP frameworks 
- Strong mySQL 5.X skills 
- Linux background, Enterprise Red Hat and/or CentOS preferred, BASH scripting 
- Experience with modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, JSON and Web Services API (REST) 
- Strong background in object oriented analysis and design, design patterns, database theory and concurrency, browser-based distributed software 
- User Interface Design - ability to build functional real-world high-tech applications for low-tech users 
- Mobile device development a plus 

Cultural 
- Background working in an Agile environment. 
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment 
- Team player - The success of the team is as important as personal advancement. 
- Preference will be given to candidates who have shown past personal initiative by publishing solely developed web applications and/or participating in and publishing unique feature updates or bug fixes to open source projects. The successful candidate will have demonstrated innovation and creativity and be known by peers within their field.
